**the unofficial gmt pura owners club**

It’s official (actually very unofficial)! The new GMT is a complete and utter failure. Misery loves company so let’s join together and share those purple/raspberry shots!

(This is 100% satire. Not a BLRO hate thread )

I like this watch.

But I'd like it more if the blue was like the smurf's

I suspect Josh is being a touch sarcastic.

Not at all. Now that it's in steel, the colors are suddenly (and magically) perfect.

LOL. It is indeed funny how people’s perception changes based on the price.

Nice one Josh.

All Rolex models have something to offer and it's nice to have a choice to suit individual tastes.

One day we will return to the days when we bought them because we liked them and not because of the scarcity and associated hype.

Looks very nice.

Enjoy wearing it.

In the GMT Rolex range I chose the 16710 and the 116713.

Because I liked them.

I was once offered a choice between a BLNR and a 114060 and chose the Submariner.

No regrets.

Love this thread. Good humored and at the same time a tribute to a great watch.

Great looking watch at a great price ( uk £6800) infact seems like a bargain . Must be awful having to get past the strawberry and plumb fruit cocktail to tell the time lol

I respectfully disagree. I think the controversy about the colors is still the same. The only difference is that more people are buying it now, but that is pretty obvious. I don't own one and probably never will but I always thought it's a very nice watch since it's first release, saw it in person many times and still think the colors are no big deal.

I like the "pastel" blue and red. A bit more artistic in appearance. Really wishing I did put the deposit down on day 1 when I had the chance.

I wonder how many more people who were and are lucky enough to get their SSblro from an AD will be flipping while the iron's hot.
