Is the skx175 discontinued

Is the 175 discontinued or just harder to find then the 175?
I know some people are ordering it and instead receiving a 009.
There's only like 10 on eBay and prices are sky high one at 1000 and some over 600.
What's the deal

Not sure.

But there’s a few around for about $350

Maybe get a 009 ?

It has the older 7s26 and slight dial color difference but they’re still about $200

Ya, but the rarer Seikos do better than Rolexeses and the cost of entry is still dirt cheap.

I’d grab one.

I had a srp043 which I gave to my brother and apparently is appreciated a bit.

Why did they make less of the 175? It is just the US version of the 009.

No. Seiko makes watches in batches. So once they sold out they are gone for a while until the next batch. It is just a US version of the 009.

Made way less of the 175 because it was just for North America. 009 is made for the whole world
