Rolex Service Expectations
Hi,
Having just put lots of annoying tiny scratches on the underside of my Datejust lugs while trying to change the bracelet, I'm wondering if, when Rolex do a service, the whole watch is polished so these will eventually be removed? Thanks! |

Yes, they will touch up everything (unless you ask them not to).

RSC will polish them out. On a side note, taping the lugs is a good practice. Even with a lot of practice and bracelets swaps under my belt, I tape every single time.

Thanks! I've replaced the Oyster bracelet and I'm not messing with it again!

You can brush the scratches out in a minute with a standard fiber pencil.

Yes, but why do you care about invisible scratches?

To better estimate Rolex's ability to remove your scratches, upload a picture so we can make a better determination. Light scratches - easy peasy. Deep gouges - not going away.

Apologies, I wasn't sure I'd be clever enough to post a pic. Not sure if they can be seen well, but none are particularly deep scratches (just annoying cause I had to mess with it!)

A polishing by an RSC should get those out.

Underside? If you can’t see them, can’t imagine even thinking about them.
