Sorry to hear this. Inside a bank? Thieves are so ballsy these days. I’m getting paranoid to wear mine.

“Inside”

Is that correct?

Isn’t there video inside and out or was this an inside job from your SDB?

Inside the bank? WTF? How is that even possible.

Banks these days are fortified to the max, cameras and security everywhere

That’s crazy Alex, Im so sorry to hear this and I hope you get it back quickly.

With video surveillance and being that this happened at a bank, they must be able to catch these perps

I'm not surprised at all. It doesn't matter if it's at bank or police station. They'll figure a way to get around it. People can walk in and out of a bank easily, there is no security at a bank when it's open.

Here is another stolen watch at a bank.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/jwl...732946081.html

Don't meet a buyer without doing some background check.

I advertised my Datejust in Craigslist too. my big Fault

Somebody wanted to buy it, I met a guy inside the Bank.
He tried my watch in his wrist, then he wanted to see the Papers. I put them in a table

The he handed me a Bank envelope. When I opened, i saw just One's.
I that moment he grab the Box and the Papers and ran like a Rabbit.

I tried to get him but he was faster.
A Car was waiting for him with the passenger door open, in the Bank parking lot, he jump in and the Car fled very fast.

The Police has a case open, it happened recently the same to another local collector, I suspect the robbers are the same people

He contacted you through phone right? So the police should be able to trace the owner of the phone number?

Wow, This seems to be happening quite frequently in banks. Pretty brazen with all the cameras around. Probably the same team of thieves as you stated. I hope they get these bastards.

Not sure how anyone can protect against this in a Face to Face transaction. Maybe have watches attached to a security cable or something. I don't know.
