15202 Bracelet on 5402?

I have a question, will a 15202 bracelet fit on a 5402? Both 39mm watches, but not sure about the lug onset...
Thanks in advance!

Errr, no. That is not the question. ;)

I found a new 15202 bracelet that has the safer clasp style, plus it’s a bit tighter that the original one. I’d like to protect that one from further wear and tear.

Am I asking a strange question? Can’t imagine no one has tried this before?
Thanks again!

unlikely as the case of the 5402 is very slightly thinner and the bracelet more so

Could call AP service and tell them you were sold a 5402 without a bracelet and ask if they offer a replacement haha

Chances are those who need a replacement bracelet will need to either source it aftermarket (i.e. a vintage market) or have AP custom manufacture one for the watch. The 15202 and 5402 isn't a 100% copy/duplicate of each other so the chances of it fitting perfectly or at all is slimmer.

Your best bet is to send an email to the AP service centre and ask.
