Explorer II 16570 problem

Hi everyone- apologies this is my first post but I have an issue with my Explorer II (16570 - from 2002). When trying to adjust the minutes hand, it works absolutely fine going anti-clockwise but it ‘jolts’ and jumps when going clockwise and I feel the mechanism isn’t locking properly. I have a video of it but trying to compress it as too large to upload.

Any ideas please? I am slightly lost as of what could be happening.

Thank you so much in anticipation.

AJ

is there a service history on this watch, if not, after 16 years it is certainly time for a "tune up" ...

On the 3185 the 'jolt' is felt when setting the hour hand to a new time zone. Make sure the stem in the proper place for moving the minute hand.
