Me too. Once it's populated, this thread could become an enormously helpful resource for members noodling over what direction to give RSC when having our watches serviced there.

Not the best example since the watch was in excellent condition. They replaced, bezel, crown, crystal, bracelet and did a light brush and polish as requested.

If there are before/after photos, then I hope we will have a chance to see them, and to know which RSC did the work and when it was done.

TRF is only as useful as members make it, and in my opinion this is one of the most useful things we can share.

True story. Happened last week.

The watch went in for a dinged case last month - was only a couple of weeks old.

They insisted on servicing the watch and gave the clasp a going over in addition to the case.

My colleague was not happy and insisted they sort it then and there. Within about 15 mins it was sorted, I mean, let’s face it, the clasp is the easy bit.

The point I’m making is that QC, in my opinion, is slipping.

Not a Rolex, but once allowed another manufacturer to polish my watch when sent for service. I didn’t know better. I expected light scratches to be removed. Instead, the watch came back so heavily polished that the clasp logo was barely noticeable and formerly sharp lines of the case all but obliterated

So, I considered it a lesson-learned. And, can understand hesitation of others having their watches polished. While my poor experience was with another brand, would be that much more upset to experience with a Rolex.

I agree. Call out the RSC and the work they provide when it’s poor.

I don’t have before and after pics, but have sent three recent through RSC Beverly Hills and all have come back looking like brand new after going in with minor desk rash and a few minor scratches.

Worst was my daughter’s Milgauss because of PCLs, but came back looking like brand new!

It was RSC Dallas. Sent a sub for service and specifically asked not to have it polished. AD confirmed that the instructions were received. They polished it regardless. Horrible polish job. The crown guards were very noticeably polished down. Even the AD agreed that it looked bad. Unfortunately, I don't have pics.

Never again. If I want a polish, I'll send it to LAWW.
