Favorite Rolexes I've owned

I have only early 2000's Rolexes. This is the era I like the most. And these are the Rolexes that I've always loved the most.

Enjoy!

This one I never owned (it belongs to a friend). But I always loved this watch. Too bad that 36mm is too small for 6'3 (190 cm) guy.

The 2000’s definitely marked the end of an era for Rolex.

5 digit king! Great photos and great references. Some really fine examples of those models.

I've had this 1675 for 43 years (1976) and have worn it almost continuously until I got my Exp II last summer. I am making sure my grandson gets it when I'm gone.

This is my other "keeper." Got this during my first job out of college in 1970. Wore it until my wife gave me the 1675. It's a close #2 as my favorites go.

Great watches. I have a hankering for a 5 digit Sub date on a leather strap.

No, I only have 16610, 16600 and 16710 now.

16570 (ExpII) and 16613 (TT Sub) are gone.

ExpII was gone because it felt a bit too small for me (I love the watch though and white 16570 is one of the iconic Rollies).

I bought the TT Sub when I was in my early thirties and I never felt comfortable wearing gold. That blue dial is a classic, one of the nicest blue dials ever. I love this watch in pictures but it's a bit too garish. 16610 and 16600 are nicer because I'm a steel guy. :)

I wish I had some extra money for a 1675. That's the watch I always wanted. Amazing.

That Sub doesn't need any more praise... it is what it is. A legend.

In my opinion the 1675 and 16600 Sea Dweller might be my all time favorite Rolex models.

Cheers.

Thanks, all.

People think I'm crazy because I bought the 16600 when I already had the Sub 16610. But this is different enough and I love the thicker case and how it feels more substantial on the wrist and the lack of cyclops.

I'm fortunate enough to own them both. But if I had to choose one, I'd choose the Dweller. This watch is pure perfection.

Awesome collection, I have to add a couple of these pre-ceramic sport watches into my collection.
