Wolf winder small cuff question

Hey guys,

Kind of a specific question here, but hoping someone can help me out.

I just got a Wolf Blake 2.7 winder, and love it. Small issue though. With a 6.75" wrist, with my bracelet closed the watch doesn't fit over the plastic tab on the side of the cuff. I have to open the clasp, slide it over the cuff then compress the cuff by basically squeezing my watch and closing the clasp, which is a bit of a pain - though I am sure it is harmless.

Anyways, was going to buy the small cuffs, but can't tell from the pics - is the plastic tab shorter than on the standard cuff, or is it just that the cushion part is shorter?

Here is the small, on the left. The tabs are the same size, the cushion is smaller. It will enable you to compress it small enough to be able to get the watch over the tab. I always close the clasp first, then compress the cushion really hard and angle the watch right over the tab. Hope this helps. F8D843D1-EA57-4C51-8EBA-2F03CE943E66.jpeg

That’s unfortunate, as my issue isn’t necessarily with compressing the cushion, but rather with actually getting my bracelet around the plastic tab without too much friction. Here is a pic with a crappy old watch of mine. You can see the cushion is compressed just fine, but I struggle to get the watch over the tab.



I thought from the pic from Wolf’s site below that the tab looked shorter, but I guess it’s just the angle...

I had the same issue with small wrists and trying to fit my Sub over the tabs. I emailed Wolf and they sent one free of charge! Now THAT’S great customer service!

I just measured both cuff tabs to be sure. They both measure from top to bottom, 2 inches.

I would get the smaller cuff. Put the watch on it in the open position and then close the clasp. That should work. It’s not the way Wolf says to do it, but if it works, that’s all that matters.

For what it’s worth, my wrist is 7.5 inches and I use the larger cuff, the smaller is for my wife’s. I install mine with the clasp closed and slide it over the tabs. It does scrape the bottom tab but it’s caused no scratches to the watch.

Mine is also 7.5 inches. I have a 116618LB with all 12 links and glide lock slid all the way in. Fits over the large Wolf cuff just fine, just have to compress the foam with your fingers before sliding the bracelet over it. OP would be better with the small cuff as there is less foam thickness to compress.
