Some advice for what to buy next

Hi Guys,

My current collection consists of a DaytonaC, BLNR and JLC Reverso.

I want to add a new watch. I don't really want to sell any of my pieces, although the reverseo would probably be the one to go if i needed to raise funds.

I have an itch for PM. I am not particularly flashy so feel YG 40mm+ isn't really me. I like the Smurf but not sure it compliments my collection. Don't want a PM GMT as I have my BLNR. Don't want a PM Daytona as i have my DaytonaC.

I was looking into DD, the 36mm YG Champagne I think is my top choice. Next the DD40 white gold dark Rhodium...

I just can't decide though. Too many choices, and that's not even mentioning other brands.

So I am basically wanting to know what watch do you think would compliment my collection best,

Thanks guys

The 36mm DD yellow with champagne dial is an excellent choice. Wear it in health.

smurf or YG Sub blue dial all the way. What better way than to get your first diver as a PM sub. Thats the alpha move

I'd recommend going with the WG DD40 first. Its an undercover stunner imo.

The Smurf is incredible. Would it serve a similar role to my BLNR though? Thats my worry.

I just don't know how to choose between the dark rhodium DD40 and YG 36. First world problem I know.

i dont think you can go wrong with a PM daytona (non ceramic).... it has a different look. Otherwise, get a skydweller, rose gold, rhodium dial.

Well, if you're avoiding 'flash,' it seems the DD40 is the better choice.

DD40 WG seems best for you now, and get on any lists you can for a Nautilus and RO.

How does the watch fit on smaller wrists? It’s quite large right?

it's 42mm, should be fine unless you have 6" wrists. Obviously, try it on before you buy it.

Haha unfortunately I do have 6” wrists, beautiful watch but I think in that case it’s one to rule out haha

With a 6 inch wrist get a DJ 36 for some variety from your other 40mm Rolex's. Lots of choices available with a DJ 36.

Good advice. The WG DD will never go out of style and will keep you busy until you get an AP or PP to compliment.

Not a chance... it’s a flat matte blue. With a white gold sub you have the true FUCK OFF submariner. Lots of people will be mesmerized by the watch but not understand why . It’s subtle and WOW at the same time. Doesn’t get enough credit because so few people are willing to spend the funds to play in that space. All the better.

With 6” wrist, probably the DJ 36mm

Do not sell the Reverso, goes perfect with your current collection !

Smurf is a cool watch. I went that route to switch up the sub gears a bit.

When I first Laid eyes on the smurf it stopped me in my tracks, it truly is a mesmerizing piece imo, definitely don’t see it being overlap with your blnr

Agreed, it's an incredible watch. I hope it stays around for a long while
