Maybe it's a way to get their insurance company to pay for the possible inherent problems/defects of the car? VW Groups products have problems with known defects they refuse to recall.

Didn't one guy ditch his Bugatti in the water a few years back? Insurance fraud is a very serious crime, yet some might feel it is way out of their troublesome car.

Yep - I doubt a heel could cause those types of impacts. Let alone dig in on a windscreen that is clearly going to be one of the best around. Windscreens are strong glass for good reason.
