Serial #s not the same
Serial numbers on certificate and tag not the same. I wonder if the one on the watch would match either of those.
Careful here! http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-SUBMARINER...1%7C240%3A1318 |

heres the very quick reply from the seller
make your own minds up whether you believe or not Hello and thank you for noticed the error in my part, the reason is because I own 3 other Rolex in which the tag that you see is the once for a Datejust I bought the same year as my SUB. I will have that picture remove to avoid further confusion. Thank you again my reply is for him to post a pic of the original tag to the watch for sale |

here is the sellers responce
I'll look for it once I get to my safe, but is possible that I may not have one, I the concerned is it authenticity the original paper work attached to the photos shows and proves the actual serial number and assures the authenticity of the watch, so if you have an interest please bid with confidence; however I will look to see if it was just mixed up with any of the other watches... Thanks for the interest in my item. |

So here's my thought. How would one get the tags mixed up on two seperate watches, even if you had them both out at the same time?
My opinion is stay clear of this one, unless you're ready for another "bedtime story" when you don't receive the watch.

He has every excuse in the book for why this just is not possible. I think he is telling a tall one. If he owns three Rolex watches, one would think that he could take the band off. I don't have the tools or the skill?
It is so simple that most mechanically challenged individuals could do it. I agree with John; "Steer Clear." Wise words to live by. Terry Newton
