Amazing Auction Results

Whats everyones thoughts on the prices achieved here? Has the world gone mad or a shrewd investment?

The wall clock is just very cool and different i would defiantly pay that amount and more if i was in the market for one. I would go as far as saying its cheap at 5k. as for the other I just don't enjoy them.

That was my thoughts, you could buy a good vintage rolex for that price.

Just short of £23000 once you add the commision and tax.

Brand insanity. The desire to 'own' and collectively worship a logo/glyph/symbol, regardless of its location (ashtray, pen, golfball... brass fish).

It's an ancient phenomenon.

The Crown rules, and the polo pony skips along merrily.

I do see several 'kids' on instagram from Asia that can not get enough Rolex watches (and they love vintage) and love the ephemera as well; it's a global market and they love it.
