40MM DD Help

Greetings and a question to you, my fellow horology aficionados:

What's an approximate discount on gold DDs at ADs in the USA? Is a 10-12% realistic on PM DDs?

I see that "gray market" dealers are all selling new DDs at $29K-$31K which would tell me that there must be some big discounts out there on PM watches. But I really want to stick with the AD. I just need to know a good starting point.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

honestly if you really want to go with an AD i would try to get at least 15%. either that or a bundle, but 15%+ should be doable if you shop around smaller ADs

Thanks! I'll press for the 15%.
