I find it illogical that you have to comment on the obvious - how many unattractive women do you see on television or magazine commercials? Those Victoria Secret girls sure are hags too, right? Oh, and that HOT brunette in the Cadillac commercials must use said car to drive clients....

I suppose what I am trying to say is that I feel there is a little too much emphasis on superficiality in our culture. There are probably many 'unattractive' people saving lives in hospitals or teaching our kids in school.

Now THAT I agree with - the emphasis on exterior beauty is loud and clear. IMHO, unattractive is a state of mind - everyone has something to offer. But you have to agree - marketing focuses on the visually pleasing.

Speaking of teachers - my daughter's music teacher is HOT! I bet she gets many apples.... Sorry, tangent.
