Humans are an accidental host, typically infected when they inadvertently eat an infected slug or snail that has slid into their salad fixings or other produce. Officials have blamed the recent boom in human cases, in part, on an explosion of an invasive “semi-slug,” which is particularly good at picking up the parasite.

Ewww, indeed. It's good to be made aware of this though. Luckily for me I would never eat a snail or slug.

Escargot is pretty good! They are typically broiled with garlic, butter & parsley.

Thanks for posting the link, OP. As long as I don't eat slugs on dares or make my own salad with sh!t I find on the side of the road, I should be ok!

Agree. We were oddly curious in the beginning. Wondering why we liked it.

Then...

All of the sudden, we loved it. What a show. We can’t decide our favorite character. It’s an ongoing debate, and constantly changes.
