An honest tool watch

In this day and age of conspicuous consumption and bling, its reassuring to know that Rolex still produces honest tool watches.

Sort of like this one

It's a watch for a tool.

Haning been with Rolex watches for the last 38 years, and having owned around 12 different pieces, all of them being either Subs Date 200 m X 1, Subs Date 300 m X 3, Subs ND X 1, DJ X 2, Daytona X 1, GMTs X 3, and wearing currently a GMT, all of them always in SS, I admitt that I dislike very much "flashy" watches as the ones pictured here.

To me, and I trust to many other Rolex lovers, Rolex perception is of a "tool" watch and I cannot accept these "cosmetic ?" models. Am I too old and "you cannot teach an old dog new tricks", or Rolex is overdoing it ?

I know, they have to "cash" their fame to "rising" markets, but still, I cannot accept that "our" company releases watches that look as the above pictured.
