To work I don’t because it will get destroyed. But pretty much everywhere else.

I wear a Rolex to work most days. No one else that I’ve seen at my work does. I’m part of the ownership at a tech company, so the only issue is if people think, “Oh, we must be doing well, should I ask for a raise?” (Probably just paranoia. We pay our people well.)

All the time. I may be naive but I no one really notices a smoth bezel oyster 41 as a rolex. I have only worked with one or two watch people that would notice anything other than a sub or a flutted DJ as a Rolex. Most are clueless and don’t wear watches which is fine by me. Did not buy mine to be noticed.

Same here. Is there anything wrong with sleeping with a watch on? I love being able to check it at night.

Everyday. Sub date completely under cuff, cause I bought it for me and personally find it a bit attention seeking (with any watch) when the cuff is pulled above the watch, in my opinion for me.

+1 on just doing your thing.

I never understood wearing casual clothes to work even if acceptable... it just doesn't seem right in a business environment especially when client facing. As far as the watch is concerned, I would definitely wear it.

It’s certainly not going to hurt it, you might get a few marks on your face. I was waking up with random marks on my head until i realized it was my watch.

I work for a very large tech company that is super casual. We are talking tee shirts and vans in meetings with CEO’s of huge companies. I tend to just wear dark jeans, button down dress shirt and either dress shoes or dressy tennis shoes. That’s about as casual as i can get. I see all kinds. I see jeans and blazers and i see workout gear. Just do you!

Most of the people in my line of work either wear a Submariner or some GPS watch. Most of our senior leaders have nice watches, so I feel comfortable wearing my 2006 sub.

Maybe its a CA thing but I've always worn golf shirts, jeans and DC slippers in the office even when I ran a division for a publicly traded financial services firm. Own my own company now so not as much of an issue. Presenting or traveling to clients/prospect offices is suit no tie. Ties are for weddings and funerals. I'm a believer in dress for your day.

Scratches, scratches, scratches... but yes! Even if I try sometimes to hide it from the eyes in the subway or the bus.

One of my 3 get worn everyday... workday or weekend. My only regret is that I have to leave the other two in the box.
The workaround is on weekend days I'll try to split mornings and evenings with one and another if I'm home... haha

I've had my first Rolex for 36 years and some jobs I've worn it every day (TT DJ). Now I have more of a selection and wear it occasionally - depends on the mood and circumstances.

I rotate between a DJ and a Speedy, and no one's ever said anything.

I've only worn my bluesy to work once, and promptly scratched it, so that's the weekend watch.

Your boss is a loser. Wear your Rolex, and plant that seed of doubt in him. Destroy him later

I used to wear my panerai, solid it and now exclusively wear my IWC. I’m in sales within the finance industry, and eeeeeveryone knows Rolex, many have them. As the salesperson, I prefer to be a little less noticed. Rock my AP or Rolex every weekend and while traveling.

I don’t even wear my Tudor to work. That’s where I wear my Seiko. Restaurants are very dangerous places for watches IME. The Seiko takes multiple whacks each week.
