Looks like the NY Yankees v. Boston Red Sox game in London yesterday was a big success. Lots of runs scored...17-13 with 60,000 attendees.

Both teams scored six runs in the 1st inning. Neither starting pitcher made it out of the 1st inning. Crazy game

Third longest 9 inning game in history. Top 3 longest 9 inning games are all between Yankees and Red Sox.

That’s the problem with Boston fans, no one asked about NFL or NHL.

How did that London job feel yesterday?

So sorry to hear about Tyler Skaggs of the Angels. Very good of MLB to postpone that game against Texas. RIP.

I'm watching Dodgers v. Colorado right now in HD.

Help me out Steve. Is it safe to give Kershaw and the Dodgers vs San Diego my undivided attention. Or do I need to keep checking the AfterDark forum also?

I was sorry to hear of the death of Jim Bouton. Loved reading Ball Four. It humanized many of my childhood idols. I saw him pitch when he brought his knuckleball to the Portland Mavericks.

RIP Jim

Are Twins fans getting nervous?
Not about the division, but making the playoffs.

Was a huge Montreal Expos fan until their demise. Got to cheer for the other canadian team...Blue Jays which was fun a few years ago, not so much this year.
On that note, I will be taking my son to his first basbeall game in Toronto next weekend> Looking forward to it

Cardinals. Our local minor team is the farm team for them so by default... the boys love it!

Actually in St Louis now, will be going to the game on Friday vs. Houston!

This is a picture from the rooftop bar at the Hilton overlooking Busch Stadium, teaching the boys the fancier the restaurant the smaller the portions!

Lifelong fan of the game and an avid reader of its history. Too many wonderful memories to even begin to go into but pretty big highlight is throwing out the first pitch of a Diamondbacks game.

Just see my avatar - a little chin music!

Yes, but Cleveland has a .504 strength of schedule of remaining opponents, and destroyed Detroit 12-1 to date. Since the middle of June, the Indians have played one team with a winning record...the Twins.

Twins have a .456 strength of schedule remaining with 42 games against the AL Central (10 against the Indians, with 7 of those at Target Field), and 32 against the White Sox, Royals and Tigers. The scheduling favors the Twins down the stretch. And Buxton is back.

The Twins remaining schedule is the 2nd easiest in all of MLB. Indians have the 13th toughest. I remain optimistic for their chances to win the AL Central.

Brought my 11yr old boy to his first MLB game. Toronto Blue Jays vs Tampa Bay. Fun game, he saw a few home runs and some great pitching. Then saw his Jays lose a 8-2 lead and lose the game.

Is he a baseball player? He looks like he's going to be a strong young man.

Hey thanks, he is more of a hockey player in a competitive program and also in competitive soccer. He keeps us busy. I will tell him the compliment as he feels he is on the small side, I tell him he is a December baby compared to the rest of his peers.
