Thanks everyone for all your comments and insights. I do appreciate it.
I think the part that bothers me is that someone else (i.e. the polisher) affected the way the watch looks, so it’s no longer “perfect,” albeit a very small imperfection. For instance, I’ve put my own dings and scratches into it, and I feel fine about them. Just something about dealing with someone else’s handling of my watch (i.e. RSC) that I have trouble with. |
