I ordered the Sub # 97200 bracelet for my 126710 - works great, as long as you use the GMT spring bars. I much prefer the brushed bracelet for a sport Rolex.
And yes, of course it can be ordered via AD, but one need to have a good relationship because it is not something they have a big margin on so they are not really that interested in doing it. They prefer selling new watches. |

Looks way cooler with the oyster. Everyone is on jubilees nuts but they are so ole fogie grandpa looking. Reminds me of the stretchy bracelets.

Glidelock is nice if you utilize it but it is longer across under the wrist. I'd stick with a GMT oyster (brushing optional) unless you need the extra adjustment over the easy link.

Interesting. I thought all the press at release said the lug holes were positioned such that oysters couldn’t be fitted.

Lug holes are drilled wider on the 126710. Can one use the GMT spring bars? Sure.... but the pins of the 116710 are smaller and won’t have the exact fit on a 126710. They can pop out. Carry on OP.... the pic you posted of a 126710 with a 97200 glidelock doesn’t tell the whole story. |

Possibly different countries RSC have different policies. Should be able to order bracelet in case strap was on the watch and bracelet was somehow stolen or lost Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If I were an owner of the WG BLRO with black dial, I wouldn’t be too happy about AD’s selling bracelets for non matching watches. An oyster with PCL’s would be identical to the WG BLRO with black dial. I’m not a fan of this move.

Many people have done this fitment with secure end links and no movement. I’m just going based on what I’ve seen dozens of people and well established collectors do with no issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is a great point and I’ve had these thoughts as well. Which makes the brushed bracelet a more respectable move Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not that I’d want to swap them out (would likely damage them) but for folks with modern steel models with compatible oysters, you could swap bracelets back and forth...

Brushed. Otherwise it’s a white gold wannabe.

I think it’s just more respectful to put on the brushed bracelet rather than an Oyster with PCLs that “coincidentally” makes it appear to be a WG model. Much more intellectually honest, IMO.

I put a sub bracelet I ordered through my AD onto my LN from day one.
Fits fine. Now I thought the same could be done to the 126710 Pepsi but I’m not so sure. The lugs are different between the newer GMT’s vs the models pre the newer movement. I have a CHNR but haven’t tried swapping my sub bracelet onto that as that would give me the definitive answer if this is possible as the CHNR and Pepsi share the same case. The LN does not. Some pics I’ve seen where this has been done with the Pepsi, the SEL’s dont appear to taper correctly for the fit of the newer lug shape. |

Brushed with glide lock, all day every day. I honestly don't understand why the watch does not come like that from the factory. That watch on a brushed glide lock is probably as cool as it gets.

You summed it up perfectly to me Brian. And I enjoy the fact that the jubilee gives it that classic look. OP, I remember seeing a thread talking about someone who did this only to go back and find out later that it was not an exact fit. Before you buy the bracelet and fit it, really make sure it’s an exact fit....wouldn’t want your new GMT to fall off unexpectedly. |

I think it looks better on the Oyster bracelet. As has been said already, if going to the trouble of doing a bracelet transplant, I would include a Glidelock. That would be my perfect 40mm Rolex Professional SS watch. Well, apart from a mythical ceramic Coke with on Oyster with a Glidelock.

Why didnt they put the white gold Pepsi GMT on the jubilee and leave the SS on an oyster?? Seems white gold is begging for a jubilee. Like a fluted Datejust and jubilee. Classy.

But that was a problem Rolex created - greedy decision to make the first modern Pepsi WG and exclusive. Most of the people reading this thread probably aren’t motivated by posing as a PM Rolex owner. In the old days you could order a GMT with oyster or jubilee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If it were me (and my wrist were of a size to accommodate the wider clasp), I'd get the sub oyster for the glidelock and then polish the center links.

Lotta folks in this thread are questioning whether this is possible rather than answering the Op's question. Yes, it's possible. And a dedicated buyer could find extra bracelets regardless. |

1. From the 126710 BLRO with jubilee 69200. 3. From the 116610LVc with 97200. There is a difference and you just may find out the hard way, if they can/will pop out. It’s not worth the risk to me. |

Yes definitely a difference... which is why youre still supposed to use the 126710 spring bars and ditch the 116610 spring bars to fit the lug holes of the 126710... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'll go with the sub bracelet. Less prone to scratches and better for resizing.

I ordered the sub-c glide lock for my BLNR through my AD and even got a discount on it. You just have to use the BLNR spring bars. Love it! It looks more “tooley”. I hated the pcl’s.

I'd go with the 97200 Sub bracelet. The brushed finish is the OG, plus it'll show fewer scratches.
