Non-Rolex Service Partners & replacement parts
Hello,
Speaking to some dealers about servicing of submariners prior to sale I often get the response that the watch was serviced and parts x y and z were replaced. For example EST.1987 watches sent me this: “The watch was sent by us for service in June this year and included a new mainspring, crown, case tube, glass seal and case back seal.” No mention who the service was carried out by. Does Rolex sell original replacement parts to only official Rolex service partners? And if so, where do non-official service places get their parts from? It’s all not very transparent to someone relatively new to the Rolex world. Thanks, Ben |
