Yes, do it and upgrade to the new BLNR
I did it and shoot with my decision. The jubilee is very comfortable and hide bette scratches. And of course, the case is a bit smaller (difficult to see but it’s there) The movement, is way way more accurate and stable as well. There is not reason why you want to keep the old BLNR - besides that, prices on the old BLNR are drooping so better you make the deal now before lose more value |

These threads #handinface
Do u like money money more, or an oyster bracelet more. The movement is diff but nothing wrong with the good old 3186. If you can afford a rolex, what is $3-4k towards another one? Hang on to the one you have. Leave the new one to someone who otherwise wouldnt get one at msrp |

Personally I would keep the oyster. I have one and love it. For variety, I would get the BLRO aka Pepsi. Two similar but different watches.

Sell old and buy New BLNR ?
Sell the old. Use 2 out of the 4K to purchase a GMT polished centre link oyster from AD or RSC (region dependant purchase... and it fits, even if they say it doesn’t, it does.), and have the best of both worlds with new movement and 2k toward a vacation

Keep the oyster. You couldn't pay me $6k to and a a BLNR jubilee to trade for my BLNR on an Oyster.

An extra couple of Gs and a new version of your watch with both bracelets sounds good to me. I don't know what the problem is here. He asked. Talk of karma, not worth it I wipe my ass with 2K etc. Wuuut?

In recent months I’ve declined SD43, JC new movement, SkyDweller TT x few times. If your heart doesn’t immediately tell you to do it it’s probably best to just pass and wait for the next opportunity. If re-selling is not in your blood it’s not worth the hassle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

if youre willing to sell, why not keep the original and sell the new one, as unworn. you will stand to pocket closer to $6-$8k instead? You already have 1 jubilee braceleted GMT. WIth the original batman, you can actually put on a super jubilee bracelet, whereas with the new one, you have to mess with the pins to put on an oyster. I say get it to keep the relationship going, and just sell the new one.

For me it would be such an easy decision, the oyster! But your decision should be dependent on which you prefer. Good luck

I would get the new one because I prefer the new movement with the power reserve....and you get a new watch with 5 yrs warranty.

Old batman will cost three times more than the new one in a few years, not to mention it looks much more beautiful on the oyster

If you are doing this to pocket some change now, I am willing to bet the oyster will be worth a lot more than the jubilee down the road. Rolex basically created a relatively limited run BLNR and we all know what history says about the potential of models like this. First bicolor ceramic bezel establishes it a part of rolex history. So why not just hang on to it and see what happens?

I would buy the new BLNR and keep the discontinued oyster bracelet model 116710 BLNR. I would sell both the BLRO and the BLNR, my .02. IF you really like GMT variations, then in that case keep all three and also buy yourself the discontinued 116710 LN and have the all black version too, killer collection of GMT II.

I guess we'll see. They're both identical on different bracelets but one has an 'inferior' old movement.

Of all my Rolex, my original BLNR is my fave. If I had the choice between old and new all other things being equal I would go with the older version. I like the BLNR on oyster. New movement isnt a big deal to me as I rotate watches and the extra power reserve isnt long enough to still be wound by the time I get back into it.

I would keep the original Batman over the Batgirl always, but it is a choice of preference

Sell old and buy New BLNR ?
Both are Beautiful Watches! Good Luck!
Only You Can Stop the Spread Of Stupid Nicknames for Beautiful Watches! Just Say NO to "batgirl"! Whenever you see the Proper Name: 126710BLNR with Jubilee Bracelet referred to as batgirl simple repost and add the proper name and this picture of batgirl!

I have a WG Pepsi, Sub-C and a White Daytona 116500 and I have to say I regret most of all that I didn’t keep my BLNR I had. Not for financial reasons (all my watches came from AD’s) but because it’s such a great looking watch.
