Conversion or not it looks AWESOME! On the wrist only you know if its OEM or conversion.

I actually have the OEM Mitsukoshi dial and the OEM hands as well. i purchased 3-4 years ago thinking i'd do it too and convert my standard Speedy but just never got around to it. Someday.

Surprisingly, its hard to find the OEM dial and hands and if you do they're selling for > $2000 for the dial/hands set. i think i bought mine for $500?

I paid around $700 for dial and hands around the beginning of 2018. Last time I looked, I only came across two sets worldwide and both asking over $3K. A local watch shop charged me $175 to do the work.
The guys at my local Omega Boutique love it, they only wish they’d been able to do it for me themselves. The tech there said nowadays the only way he could order those parts would be exchange for a Mitsukoshi full service.

Bluesy and Batman

Does anyone own both a Bluesy and Batman?

If so can you post picture side by side.

This would be my ideal duo.

What an awesome pair!

Kinda tough to beat that I’d say.

Maybe 5712 instead of 5711 would be my choice, but then again, this is a vicious combo meal deal hungabusta situation

Amazing shots in this thread. Here's my current two-piece collection; after lots of waiting, both are 2019 and new in my name. I can't see myself ever letting either go:

I have the dial and hands still sitting in some drawer.

I've been eyeing my standard moon watch and debating:

1) covert my current moon watch to mitsukoshi
2) buy new moon watch and convert to mitsukoshi
3) buy FOIS and convert to current moon watch to mitsukoshi

$175 is a pretty good deal.

I feel many of these collections need a SS sky dweller in them.

For me, these two deliver the best 1-2 punch because:
-GMT for daily wear and travel needs
-Daytona for daily wear and dress ocassions
-both rugged and water proof
-both super comfortable
-both classics that will last a lifetime

What’s your best 1-2 punch, if you could only have two?

(PS if I needed a trio collection I would add my SD4K)
