Rolex and Cyclops

Do all Rolex watches with a date function have a 2.5 magnification cyclops?

Looked it up: Apparently the thicker crystals on the DSSD and the old Sea Dwellers did not have the cyclops.

Thank you.

Very, very early on it looks like having the cyclops removed was a selectable option. As a result, there are some older pieces that don’t have it. Unfortunately, I don’t have a date range available....just a bit of history I picked up on another forum recently while searching out images of removed cyclops.
