This one is tricky but there are a few red flags. Scratched dial indicates the watch was disassembled and the dial changed by an amatuer. Possibly a franken of the "best" fake parts. Number font on the bezel looks wierd, too thin. Lume on the indecies looks splothcy like a fake dial. Date font looks a bit fat. Crown logo on the clasp is misshapen. NO warranty card but he has all the other paperwork and the booklet the card goes in...

The bezel sharpnes at 6 o clock part is very poor .... however a warranty card holder without the warranty card, you just took the warranty and throw that away, ore you just buy original box and booklets and a fake watch.....

No. A small amount (2%) of platinum is added to the mixture to bind it.
But it’s not made in any way of platinum

I (again) think that you are wrong.

Rolex clearly speaks about „a layer of gold or platinum“ and not as a binder to hold the mixture together.
And the process is PVD, so based on a powder which is deposited onto a surface. That does not content paint or similar which needs a binder.

You should really better check before you are posting those false infos

They are coated with a thin layer of platinum or gold depending on the watch using a pvd process, then a diamond polishing is applied to remove the excess platinum or gold.

Correct.
Coated with a thin layer of platinum (for SS)
That’s a thin coating. Nothing is made of platinum
Regards

Couldn't even save his argument if his life depended on it

Yes the bezel numbers are platinum coated. The end. I believe it's on Rolex's website too

That watch, I wouldnt even pay more than 200 bucks for. Could be one of the Noob's newest watches.

No warranty card to match serial either makes it very suspicious.
