Congratulations!

Also made the active choice of AP Diver over the RO (blue dial even)

It’s a cracking watch and such a joy to wear day in, day out for pretty much everything I get up to.

I really hope this was worth the money.. I adore the watch but this was the highest I’ve yet to spend.. I have three straps and someday will buy a bracelet.. a few years from now. The sales person was amazing .it wa a fun experience.. I also picked the piece I liked. I’d been mostly a Rolex person until now.

I'm with you there. I just picked up the black face diver last week. Absolutely love it, but it's the most I've spent on a watch thus far as well, which did give me a momentary gut check. But, given how much I've been staring at the watch the past week, I think it was money well spent.

Though it might be more expensive in the long run as it's the gateway watch that now has me wanting more AP's! That new grey ceramic offshore chronograph looks amazing. Better start working on refilling my watch fund.

Which straps did you get? I love the black rubber, and how comfortable it is, but curious to maybe get one or two more straps. Maybe even the black alligator.

They “threw in” all straps.. gray, navy, white.. I did not ask for comped straps. Resale will be fine and given the market I’m quite sure the piece will hold value

Love it. Getting the Royal Oak last year and just getting the VC chrono, I hear you about the money/value factor.
