AP Diver

I was looking to hear some input from you all regarding the ROO diver. What do current owners think about it? How does it wear for a 42mm? Do you think it wears larger, kind of like other ROO? Obviously, the more pics you all have, the better.

Thanks.

I have a FC Diver, love it. It's not a one and only in my opinion, big and bulky but great for casual and I love mine for beach/pool/vacation/etc.

It’s bulky yet very comfortable and easy to wear especially on casual occasions. The watch is on the thicker side though so if you’re particular about not getting scrapes and scratches on it (specifically for the Stainless Steel models), gotta be a bit more concious where you put your wrist. Overall, it’s a great piece and probably my favorite in the rotation.

As you’ve not specified which model you’re interested in, I’m going to assume the 15710 with either white or black dial.

There is of course the full CE version that is absolutely stunning and the carbon version as posted above, as well as coloured options and Chronograph editions too.

The more recent models have the exhibition back, which in my view adds a lot to the watch. But worth exploring the various models available if you’re serious about buying.

The watch case is quite thick, but is very well proportioned for its size. Despite the horological heft, it doesn’t draw too much attention or get noticed much. In part thanks to the rubber strap which adds a certain subtlety to it.

My APD has been a daily wearer for just over two years now. I love the versatility of it and have worn it for virtually everything apart from trips to the range and it hasn’t had any issues.

I’ve picked up some bezel damage along the way, but it doesn’t detract from the overall look at all.

I won’t post too many pics as I don’t have so many new ones recently but here are a few of my favourites. If you search back my previous posts you will find lots more.

I think it wears very similarly to the other 42 ROOs, maybe a tad larger than the chronos as their dials are narrowed by the subdials.

Wears like a 44mm watch but very comfy and built like a tank

Mine had PR & crown issues that ultimately led me to sell it, also would like if the buckle was a bit more tapered, the 24mm was too bulky IMO
