Brown dial is also the more "rare" dial right? I read that production was nuch more limited and it's been discontinued ?
Personally i dont think you could go wrong with either brown or blue but i have a bias towards blue so went with blue haha

I was looking at the brown dial, not in person and was very tempted. It is discontinued and i heard the silver dial is also being discontinued. I pulled the trigger yesterday on the black one.

Thanks! The color works so well on this watch. I also love the black. Please share some wrist shots when you get yours. Cheers.

I will, todays a waiting game for UPS. After wiring my payment to the dealer i waited an hour, called to verify and with the holiday rush was going to suggest they wait to ship but then got an email from UPS it was on the way.

Does the rubber strap have to be cut to fit like a PP ?

Hey Everyone,

I recently decided to take the plunge on a 41mm VC Overseas Time/Date 4500V with blue dial.

What I have found interesting is that in most lighting scenarios, at least here in the winter in NYC, the dial is navy to almost black, with it "lighting up" in the bright blue that I've seen in the thread here only under a direct lighting source (like a downward halogen light in an elevator, or the right angle of sunlight).

I still don't have enough posts to post links - though only 5 more needed! - so I'll post some macro movement shots and a video of the dial/light dynamics when I can.

Thinking about picking up a Overseas Dual Time. What kind of discounts are folks getting at the ADs here in the states? I’m guessing the VC boutiques don’t discount at all.

Tried on the blue three-hander at an AD here in The Netherlands recently. Due to the integrated lug design and the stiff endlinks, I found it impossible to get a good fit, particularly on the bracelet. On leather it felt just slightly better. I have to say that I did not have the bracelet fitted. My wrists are approx 17cm in circumference and fairly flat and I never had this problem with any of the other watches I own (JLC, Rolex, Omega). So while the watch didn’t wear large do try before you buy, as I walked in the AD ready to spend but left disappointed.

I had this impressions when I first looked at the watch with the unsized bracelet. The best way to tell is to insert a cleaning cloth or glove between the unsized bracelet and your wrist to “strap it down” and then see. Now that the bracelet has been sized the stiff link forms part of the normal curvature between bracelet and case around the wrist.

Do it! You won't be sorry. The bracelets killer as well and never thought I'd switch it out but tried the rubber today and I'm liking it too.

Nice to see these on rubber and leather. It's ridiculous how easy the straps are to change. Brilliant design by VC.

So I was told in the store yesterday that the ultra thin time only watch has been discontinued for a couple of years now despite still appearing on the website. Guess I’m going to need a new grail
