First AP 26400io
Been waiting for the first AP that felt right...
Never considered the 44mm ones cos the 42s I always tried always felt too lumpy and unbalanced (to me at least). I always had a problem with the 42mm rubber pushers as well so was so excited when the new 42mm titanium with the square buttons came out. Got on the waitlist and got the call. Went to the store and they also had this 44mm which I decided to try. Well once I tried the 44mm there was no going back. For some strange reason the 44m sits much better on my wrist and looks less lumpy (for lack of a better word). This watch looks incredible in person. The finish on all the ceramic bits is out of this world. When its in the plastic wrapper one can’t tell how nice it actually is... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

That looks very good on you, the 44 does seem to look flatter than a 42, it just looks better if you have a wrist 6.75” or bigger, imo.

What I realized is the wrist matters less than the forearms. If the forearms are bigger than the whole watch including strap it works quite well regardless of wrist size. I will try to post another pic later with whole forearm to show what I mean.

The 44 scares off a lot of people but they are a pretty easy and smooth wear for me as they spread out nicely over your wrist, esp if they are flat, then a 6.5 inch wrist can take this watch. As we always say the ROO is a big bold watch so it should fill up your wrist, unlike PPs and Rolexes. Congrats on going for it!

Congrats. I chose the 44ti over 42 for same reason (better proportions + square pushers) and the dial is amazing.

lumpy???
the 44 is THINNER than a 42. looks wide and flat. 42 is better proportioned. Round pushers are infinitely more elegant. |

To me the 42mm are lumpy not the flatter 44mm ones. I can’t stand the 42mm pushers either. To each his own Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

It’s one of those pieces that don’t stand out in photos but in real life it’s by far the most versatile for those of us that don’t need to wear a collared shirt everyday...

I just picked the 26400IO up. My first AP as I have been a PP wearer. I have to admit I am not sure what I think about the 44mm face. I normally wear the Nautilus, so my it’s natural to think it’s a big watch on my wrist. Nevertheless I was looking for a much more casual watch for my collection. The light weight and details were the reason I took this watch although my wife seems the think the band is more taupe than grey.
