Options for Bracelet adjustment once removable links gone

Hi, My wife's '73 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust is now too big for her wrist since she lost weight. It has a two-tone jubilee bracelet which is at the end of its low end adjustment range, meaning the removable links are removed and the band is at the end of its adjustment at the clasp as well. The only apparent adjustment option now appears to be to remove non-removable links. I just wanted to ask whether there were any other options open to me to reduce the size of the bracelet.

I suspect that a decent jeweler may be able remove additional links as necessary. I haven't had it done myself, but I've heard of other people having custom work like this done.

Removing a permanent link has been the method of sizing smaller wrists for decades.

When a permanent link is removed, a screw link can still be installed there in the future if required.

Removing a permanent link isn’t a big deal. If someone like Rolliworks does it, they’ll do it without damage so it could be reinstalled one day.

There is a method where the screw link that is attached to the bracelet is removed via the attaching rivet.

This method eliminates the "step" typically associated with taking out a permanent link. It also eliminates actually pulling apart a link, since it is simply unscrewed.

It is not as common because it involves grinding out and replacing a rivet. This would have to be done again to replace it. But it does make for the cleanest look and is virtually undetectable - until you need to add a link back..
