My AP running weirdd

After a full wind.. it runs for a bit then stops. I can tell from the second hand stopping. I shake it and it runs for a little after. Then stops like minutes later.

Anyone else have this issue. They said they will send it into service apparently.

Few questions
1) how long will this take?
2) what u guys think is wrong with it

A little irritated

Bad chrono module maybe? My 44 did the same thing hours after purchase and I sent it to Clearwater took about 3/4 weeks.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago on a brand new watch.
AP checked that it hadn't been 'magnetised' and then sent it off for a repair. From memory it was two to three weeks.
If yours has become magnetised somehow then it is remedied by AP whilst you are in store, else its a couple of weeks or so.

Unfortunately, It's not uncommon for an AP to be DOA from my experience and a good friend of mine who has a few. Good news is that Clearwater will fix and it should run well after that.

Yeah I threw a small fit... very small.

It’s more my wife was like WTF kind of crap is this... just got her over the hump buying some AP’s now it’s a big step back... she’s like 35k and it’s f’ing broken.

That sucks man. Luckily you have about 25 other pieces to wear while they look after it.

No doubt, hate that it happened. I’ve never had any issues with APs, looking for some wood to knock on.

Hope it gets taken care of quick, my man.

Sorry to hear about that, buddy. You seemed pretty stoked about adding it to your stable. On the bright side this just means more wrist time for the P-01 and the TTSD.

My 44RG had similar soon after I got it. However it would run longer - I'd find that although fully wound it had stopped during the night. It went back to AP for four weeks and then was ok. My other APs seem fine, but this does seem to be on an ongoing intermittent issue, which shouldn't be the case. A number of people on this forum have had the same.

Was all excited. I’m wearing it today in case they have me bring it to the AP AD on 57th

Don’t feel bad Ninja. It even happens to celebrities. This is why Post Malone sings that is “AP going psycho”

Sucks to hear, I'm sure they'll get it fixed for you ASAP. The 57th St boutique and Clearwater are awesome.

Maybe your daughter will let you borrow her AP in the meantime?

Sorry to hear about that...

I've had this happen to a few of my AP's...I've had a couple magnetized and another took a full service.

Got them back in no time (was quoted 4-6 weeks and it was more like 4) from AP Clearwater and had zero issues once received back from Clearwater.

AP Clearwater re-opens after the Holidays on Jan 6th.

Dang, hate to hear that my friend. I’d be irritated as well, sadly it happens from time to time. Could be several things — but should be an easy fix.

Will be interested in hearing what the cause and solution is.

Good luck, Ninja. I bought a new AP and kept for a week. Glad I traded it off now. Anyway, I know you will deal with this setback in Ninja fashion.
