Everyone is unique and some of the reasons I chose the polar are the same reasons some folks on here did not: 42mm case and orange hand and font. Some other reasons include dual time zone, readability, less common/under-the-radar, and the history of the watch. But the biggest reason is the way it felt when I put it on my wrist. Honestly it is a personal decision and you will be happiest with the watch that YOU like the best.

Sub by a mile. Also, you stated that you don't like the cyclops - the Exp II has one and the Sub does not.

For me, the Explorer II. But if you said the sub was a hulk, that would be a different story.

Polar followed by an SD43 to alternate black and white and have similar size, as a sub seems small after you wear an EXP2.

I did both, they just play so well together in a collection and as daily wear.

Had the same decision and wound up with both... Polar and Bluesy.
