What ole' IronMaiden76 tells me all the time is this.
When I was young it was like a rock. Now that I am old, love stinks. I think he is talking about songs? |

OK - that is making me giggle. I've always known that song as "Pomp and Circumstance", which happens to have been played at every commencement I've ever attended! I never realized it was a Birtish patriotic song.

Please don't laugh, but I've always been partial to Journey's "Faithfully" (I suppose that's more romantic than sexy. "True Companion" by Marc Cohn is good, and happens to be our first dance song.
I'm going to have to think about this some more.

Difficult to know what old bronskibeat76 is on about half the time. Yesterday he was in George Michael mode singing "I'm your man" "different corner""and "wake me up before you go go" and asking me if I fancied a kebab

went to see old Elton a couple years ago when he came to Brighton. What a showman and did loads of his very early stuff including Funeral for a friend. Took the whole family.
Charlotte was about ten at the time and he played Tiny Dancer which was her favourite song at that time. She sang all the words much to the bemusement of most of the others around us. Tiny dancer was on the album Madman across the water 1971, which also has Indian Sunset that was sampled by Tupac Shakur on Ghetto Gospel |
