The more I look this forum, the more I become crazy

The more I look this forum, the more I become crazy.

Before looking at this forum:

1) I dont care about watch
2) No awareness at my wrist, bump this, bump that, watch hitting table or doors, I dont care.
3) Dont care scratches
4) Dont want to buy anymore watch
5) Less stress about watch.
6) Thinking the people who sleep with the watch is crazzyyyyyyy

After reading this forum

1) I care about watches
2) Awareness at my wrist, always becareful while using it.
3) Scratches bother me
4) Thinking what watch should I buy next?
5) MORE STRESS because the watch have more scratches, dent, ding this, dong that. ding dong ding dong bump
6) Thinking the people who sleep + kissing the watch is normal.

Any other people with me here? We are all crazy! We are sick! We have a fever! The only cure is to buy more ROLEX

You know, I hit my 16570 bezel on tempered glass the other night and noticed it lift a ding and several small scratches. After that I spent about half an hour on the gram browsing dinged up explorer 2s. Then I remembered thats precisely why I bought this model. It can take those nicks and dings and still come out fine. Enjoy your watch.

Don't let the Internet control you. Seek opinions but never give up YOUR integrity to the wishes or wills of others, either singly or collectively. I used to want certain things because every one else wanted them. No longer.

Your post is probably representative of all forums, and probably of human nature in general lol. On the plus side, trf has made me more aware of features, movements, etc., and I've just purchased my first watch on the forums! In terms of the deltas, don't let gripers alter your focus. Wear your watches in good health, appreciate your position and what you did to get there, and don't sweat the small stuff. I mean... we're here celebrating success, luxury, and one of the finest brands in the world... Don't let some small % of strangers on the internet ruin the fun!

It’s a watch..wear it and enjoy it unless you have a physical job which will damage it on a everyday basis.

Scratches are going to happen, if you didn't care about them before the forum, don't worry about them now.

Same thing happened to me, who knew lmao.

You forgot that before it was safe to...____...anything with your watch.
Now
Nothing is actually safe and you’ll need to consult the forum to make sure that doing...____...is safe with your watch.

Well, has actually made me more relaxed and have no need to participate in the craze.

1) I care about watches
2) Mindfull of my wrist, however live my life
3) I dont care about scratches
4) Enjoy what I have, next watch will come when I decide to buy it
5) Watches do not stress me at all
6) Thinking the people who sleep + kissing the watch is normal (its actually called enjoyment)

Being on this forum influences my opinion and what I like. I tend to develop a liking to popular watches, blue dials, green dials, the recent gmts on jubilee, etc.

totally right! I'm very frustrated and crazy about this whole thing. I can buy any watch or combo of watches I want, but waiting for MSPRP is the correct thing for me to do. Tired of dealing with AD's and Rolex is very frustrating!! If given the chance I would spend a F$$%^&* ton of money, but I don't want to buy a bunch of crap just to be given the small chance of approval. That frustration stands alone and is also experienced by man other members based on others post history. Some of that is just frustrating. Please don't bring up market demand and value etc. It seems like venting (albeit at midnight) should be ok, and also filtered through the context of the hour.

It's a great hobby, that could get expensive. At the end of the day, we're all blessed to be able to enjoy our timepieces. Regardless of make, or price. This forum allows us to share stories. Every watch has a good story behind it. I have several Rolex watches, and wear my Casio DW5600BB almost everyday.
