Cyclists- post a pic of your ride-

I'm sad as this season I'll spending more time rehabing a back injury than riding. But that just means I'll get faster at the 1000m swim! Anyway, cycling is the pursuit that haunts me as much as watches, and sadly just as expensive.

Here's my current ride- Lemond Tete de Course custom build, full Dura-ace 7800, Zipp 404s, and other lightweight goodies. Rides like a dream, climbs like a F16 and bombs the 50mph downhills with total confidence. Crosswinds with the Zipps, well lets say you are actively steering the machine

-with the heavy Zipps, 15.8lbs and some change.

Very nice.
Here's my 2004 LeMond Vic. And at 65 degrees it will be on the road in about an hour.

Nice bike Dan! I love the Ti/Carbon models, have a great ride! I got out for a few short miles this morning (don't tell the doc), but it'll be back to the pool in a couple hours for some laps before work. Looks like Spring has come to us in the midwest.

Russell

PS- It's hard to beat the Thomson/Fizik combo!

Yes, I noticed that too. I have 4 Fizik saddles, one per bike and a spare.
Hope you're back in the saddle for good real soon!

You aren't kidding!

I had a Colnago Dream Plus & then a CT-1, and absolutely loved them.

Hubby just scored a 2004 LeMond Zurich for $500. It needs a tune up and probably new brakes, but a very nice ride. Me, I'm still bike-less.

And sorry, no photos yet.

My Yeti ASR - 4" traver xc ride
Full XTR drivetrain
Handbuilt Chris King/Mavic wheelset
I built this first and than the road project was built to have the same look. Kinda dirt & road twins. It's my winter/spare ride now so I threw some platforms on it. More bikes to come, just warmin' up.

Hopefully your next pictures will have bikes with SEATS.

Nice collection so far!

Intense 5.5EVP. I built this last spring to have ready for the '08 summer season. I was going to build another Yeti but they've moved production of most of their line to Taiwan. Intense is one of just a few remaining companies that hand builds all their frame sets right here in the US . Rides like a dream.

The trials bike. Planet-X Zebdi, stock class. I've been lucky to have Jeff Lenosky and Lance Trappe as customers/acquaintences and was introduced to trials by them. This bike takes more punishment than you can believe and requires more fitness than I thought. I'm home alone or I'd post some action shots. I'm comfortable with drops of about four feet.

Love the Yeti and th Intense. I built up a Santa Cruz Heckler from the frame. Great bike, I sold it a while back as I spent all my riding on the road. I miss it.

If you miss the heckler, replace it with an new Blur LT . They're a real nice ride. Very similar to the 5.5EVP. It's available as a frameset or several build kit levels. If you don't have a local shop that sells them pick up a copy of mountain bike action magazine, plenty of mail order places with great deals. The last couple of years I've been riding mostly mountain as I was hit by a car two years ago. I've been back out but I'm not totally over it mentaly and still occasionally get spooked. I'm trying to talk one of my riding partners into doing the Choutta 100 in Tenn next month. Anyway, speaking of Santa Cruz...

My freeride bike - Santa Cruz Bullit. Finished it last fall in time for the last few weekends in at Diablo Freeride park. 43lbs worth of point it down anything and pray you'll arrive at the bottom with it. Capable of withstanding way more abuse than I am. I'm stocking up on extra links so I can fit my watch over my probable future cast. This thing is just silly good fun to ride down the most brutal terrain.

No pictures as of yet but I have a Litespeed Sewanee equipped with Shimano XTR, full suspension courtesy of Fox,XTR clipless petals,Shimano XTR disc brakes, Chris King headset and tubless tires. It has great ride characteristics being made of titanium(stiff but light) and can go anywhere at anytime!!!
