leave it as is for now, the polish (although its tempting to remove the minor scratches that we all get on our watches) can change the overall look and feel of your piece if they overdo it. "You can always take more off but you can't put more back on"... or something like that :)

Good choice.

Nothing really wrong with a refinished case, but it is a fleeting thing.

That, and there are only so many times that you can take metal off before you reach the limits of case dimensions.

It doesn't look weird nor will if the case is refinished. Either route would be good. Doing what works for you is what's right. Wait until the next servicing is likely the best option. I doubt the repair shop is shutting down.

I would just leave until next service. It looks like quite standard daily driver scratches.

There will be no polishing of my scratches, those are mine.. and so are the sharp edges.

If you are bothered by scratches etc....keep the watch in a safe.

It looked good and it still does. Hard to tell from the pics if the case is more sharp now. Certainly watchmaker did a good job.
Time to stop OCD and start enjoy wearing it

Looks sharp... get it!? Lol Definitely seems like job well done. There’s nothing wrong with having a watch professionally refinished vs someone taking a dremel or a buffing wheel to one. Enjoy it, looks really good.

You could hit the polished areas with a sunshine cloth. Won’t really remove any metal, but should help a bit.
