I'll be adding more pics and observations after I have some time to experience this amazing piece of technology.

Great thread, Dan!

Refreshing to read a thread and review about a watch purchase. Sometimes I wonder if I’m still on a watch forum when scanning threads.

I totally agree with you about the “matte” bezel insert. It gives it the vintage look of an aluminum bezel. If Rolex did this with the black ceramic Submariner bezel, it would be a great improvement.

It goes surprisingly well with dress attire. Spent the entire week in meetings at the home office and while I consider the Pelagos the ultimate sports watch, it works just fine when dressing up a bit.

Due to the titanium, there were times I forgot I was wearing a watch. Another benefit of the reduced weight is the watch stays planted on the wrist. No flopping around.

And just like my BB GMT, the Tudor in-house movement is amazingly accurate. It was set last Friday and today is running spot on. I must admit I questioned Tudor going in-house with movement manufacturing but they've really stepped it up and with very little increase in price.

I also came home to find the warranty card from the AD w/ an insurance appraisal in the mail. Could not be happier with this purchase. Another amazing value by Tudor.

Nice observations Dan.
I really like to have rules broken on the watch/dress codes. It can’t be more original than this. Rules are made to be broken. Looks even more stunning on your attire.
Regarding the accuracy, I’m starting to believe that Tudor in-house movement is sort of more precise than Rolex’s! I don’t know why it’s not classified as COSC Chronometer.
