Uaah on the outlook of the watch but Oops on the soon-to-be-replaced movement.

Anyways enjoy the present moment

Uaah? Please explain. I’m not sure what your comment means? I know the movement is soon to be replaced but why is that “oops”? Cheers

Congrats.

Re turning vintage next year, so a watch becomes vintage after 32 years?

Congratulations. I own the 116618LB and think it is one of the most beautiful YG Rolex watches on the market. The Glide Lock Clasp ensures a perfect fit every time.

That is a beautiful watch. I'd love to see side-by-side pictures of both your watches, but I understand the other one is locked away now. Maybe someday when you get them out for a spin at the same time.
Congratulations on that lovely lovely gold!
(Some say vintage = acrylic crystal)

I bought the older 16618 version (a 1989) but changed my mind as thought I needed the more modern 116618. I am glad I did. For 2 similar watches I find them very different which is odd. Each to there own I suppose.

So the 1989 16618 is in the safe now, and will be for some years (it turns vintage next year!). For now I am going to enjoy this beauty while I’m still young!!!!

Here she is guys.

Yes they are solid on the 16618. However the centre bracelet links on the equivalent model bi-metal 16613 are not solid. Hope that helps and sorry for the delayed response.

Love seeing people buying watches.
All the virtue signalling I've seen on this forum... This is the real way to make a difference. Help your economy out, if you can, and spend your money. I understand that many can't, and that's painful, but more pain will follow if those with money stop spending what they can afford to spend.

Me too, but have a feeling prices may head downward due to this global recession. Are you going to wait?

Wondering if this is a fake, as you posted the same photo on a fake site?

Cannot post a link or screenshot here because I don't have the post count, but check this:

You are obviously correct, it has some 'gen' parts. Maybe half a fraud, then?
