Caseback Sticker

If the AD has not removed it, would you leave it on or take the sticker off?

Take it off. Grime and bacteria magnet plus casebacks usually don’t get too scratched up.

I would take it off. I personally don't see any value in keeping it, especially if you will be wearing the piece (which I hope you will!). But hey, if you've formed a strong bond with your casebook sticker, all power to you

I just noticed that my hulk still had it on and I've been wearing it for 4 months lol. I took it off. I did keep it though as we got along well.

Take it off or you may eventually contract a flesh-eating bacteria!

I guess this whole COVID-19 thing hasn’t taught everyone the importance of sanitization and not harboring bacteria...take it off!

There's something relieving taking them all off.

Seems useful for resale purposes in that it’s able to indicate how often the watch was worn. Other than that, I would certainly remove.

I have a mate with a TT DJ from the 90's, it's his daily watch and he's had it since new..

..it still has the green sticker on it! I'm talking pre-hologram green sticker.. it's still there, daily watch 25yrs..

I thought the holograms that were on pre 2006(?) watches were cool and I could understand folk wanting to try keep them.. but the modern ones have nothing going for them.

My dad wore a 1995 Coke GMT almost daily for about 18 years and somehow it still has the sticker. I'm leaving it on because it shows how well the watch has been taken care of, plus if the "bacteria will cause your wrist to fall off" theory was true it would've happened a long time ago. Are you people licking your watches?

May be it’s just me but I remove all stickers immediately. I don’t understand those who don’t.

The sticker will leave a ring on your case back. It’s salt from your sweat trapped around the sticker. It will pitted the metal, so remove it. You can always save the sticker on a wax paper.
