I just put on a blue Everest. Definitely tones down the bling. Really enjoying the different vibe with it! But I also appreciate the bling too with the bracelet, as part of my collection.

Not sure how I feel about the "flashy" dispute. I think it may have more to do with recognizability of the bluesy and connotations with it (e.g. stock broker, car salesman, rich snob, etc.) than the actual shine of the piece. Don't get me wrong, the watch has bling as noted, but my BLRO also shimmers on the wrist for example.

I own one and it's totally a love hate relationship. It screams loud, but also looks nice in some light conditions and some angles. The gold does scratch even if you breathe on it, which sucks. One week I wear it all the time, the next I can't even wear it 5 minutes. During these times it collects dust. Sometimes it just becomes way too blue, and way too gold, with very little ss. I have been thinking I should sell, but then when I pick it up sometimes, I do enjoy the weight of it. I wear my GMT way more, 116710LN ion Rubber B. is an absolute perfect watch in many ways.

I prefer the understated black TT by quite a large margin

In solid gold again prefer black but by a smaller margin. I think the blue looks better with all gold.

I do! It was my first Rolex and the reason I made an account on TRF. The dial and bezel match perfectly. It’s a lovely piece!

Every watch in the Rolex Diver line-up is a winner for me. That said, I am not a huge TT fan but have owned the black TT Submariner before and really liked it. The blue version I have admired from afar. If it is what you want, then why not.

Just curious, has anyone every tried one on a SS sub oyster band? I guess you'd need to source one first unless you were willing to swap with one of your other pieces. Don't think I've ever seen it on SS though. Maybe with all the gold lettering and trim on the bezel it wouldn't work, but I'd be curious to see if anyone has tried.

That’s a question I have always asked. I think it would look great.

I like it well enough, but I can’t ever see buying one. There are others I’d rather have.

I prefer the bluesy in the 2 tones and the black dial/bezel in the full yellow gold.
The problem of the white gold, to my taste, is that the flat blue dial is too cold.

Nothing cold about this!!

When I get another Rolex, it will probably be this one. I've only seen it once in person and it looked great! As others have mentioned, might be a bit loud for a daily.

Yes, someone has tried already. Search the forum and you should find the thread. It looked ok, but to me it lost a lot of its appeal, no more gold on the bracelet to complement the gold bits from the case.

OP, you should know better than seek a consensus here...there's way too many diverse opinions.

About the best you could do would be if you got about a 60/40 split on a poll. (I have no idea what you'd get-that's just a theoretical example)

To answer your question, I love the bluesy...one of the best, IMO.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 6 digit bluesey in the wild. Gents Rolex just aren’t that common in the uk. Only ones I see regularly (ie once a month or so) are lady DJ.

Some TT watches for some reason fail, such as the Daytona IMHO. But the TT Blue Submariner is a great fantastic looking watch.
