Had the same issue with an EXPLORER 2 dial swap: 550US$ on exchange basis or 800$ to keep the old one as well.

I don't care for the Jubilee Bracelet, so the selection for me becomes more limited.
Blues really pop!

6 or 23 depending on preference of lume dial or not.

SINGLE PICK: all 24 current dials of the DateJust41 presented here. What’s yours?

For me, my preference for a Datejust will be fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. I hate staring at scratches on both bezel and PCL bracelet. The design of the fluted and jubilee hides the scratches nicely.

The dial preference for me will be the stick hour index which provides luminescence at dark. I agree on a comment that Roman will make the dial cluttered unless it is a deconstructed Roman found in the Day Date model. The 3D Roman on the Day Date wins the day for me.

As to the dial color, my order of preference is Dark Rhodium, Blue and Black. Since I have a number of blue and black dial watches, I would choose the Dark Rhodium.

In summary - 15 for me.

#1, and #11. I don’t like too much bling. The Oyster bracelet tones it down. And I prefer a smooth bezel. Less is more for me.

Great, simple, classic Rolex. I wear mine more, than my SS Submariner Date.

Oh man now you're making me want a piece I terribly don't need, and the missus really wouldn't approve of

But how about some pictures?
