16520 S serial

I was looking at some zeniths and found an S serial(4 liner) dated to 1993. I know early S can be inverted 6 and most are normal 6. I have never seen one with a 4 line dial though.....I assume dial is not original and from an earlier watch, what do you guys think? Thanks

I’m relatively new w the Zeniths but to my knowledge the floating Cosmograph (4 liner) was only available on 1988 models with no PCL’s. If I’m mistaken anyone chime in to correct me on that.

Floating and 4 line are 2 different dials, but both are earlier models than S serial.

I own a S serial four liner bought new in 1993. It was not uncommon for Rolex to ship watches with dials they had on hand - in this case some leftover stock.

I send you a pm as well.
