Hi All

My TurnOGraph Datejust has been living on rubber and leather straps as my Jubilee is badly stretched. I am contemplating changing the pins myself. Has anyone else done this here? Where can I pickup the pins ?

Also contemplating getting an Explorer or Oyster Bracelet for it. Would love to hear peoples thoughts.

I suggest having a proper shop do it. Even an expert takes approx 3 hours to rebuild a bracelet. Plus you need the bracelet tools (approx $1,300 cost)

From the looks of the last photo, there is a lot of gold missing from those links.

I would imagine that the pros who work on bracelets for a living, have their connecting rods custom cut and knurled. I don't know of a kit or place where you can just order some without knowing exactly what you need.

They are just press fit together. Build yourself a fixture to pull one apart and see what you need and how bad the current ones are.

Rolliworks might sell you a kit of pins that would be right for your bracelet. But with the proviso that you send the bracelet to them for rehab if it doesn’t work out.

Currently you can't change it because shops are closed, but maybe you should google for nearby shops around you with experts.

I went down this same road. Ended up sending to Rolliworks and very happy with result.

The tools are available. The pins are not. Those shops that do a proper rebuild have their pins custom made. It’s one of their big value adds and why it’s a business for them. As far as I know they won’t sell them and it’s not practical to have a set made to do one bracelet.
