Tourneau AD
I went into a Tourneau AD today to admire some of their finer rolex models. I asked a sales associate if they had gotten in any gold submariners with the ceramic bezel. The AD gives me an odd look and says "you must be mistaken, the submariner doesn't have a ceramic bezel, only the gmt II does." I said that I believed he was mistaken and that the gold sub in fact did have a ceramic bezel and that the TT was likely to be shown in a few days in basel with a ceramic bezel. He rudely told me that I was wrong and walked away from me. Really expected more from a senior salesman at Tourneau in NYC.

You should have asked to speak to his manager about both:
a) his ignorance b) his attitude

On second thought, if you have that salesmans name you should print out some literature about the Ceramic YG Sub and mail it to him, or better yet make another visit to have the same conversation with that person and then whip out the literature! Show them you are informed!

Customers service is dead in North America...
I used to be very impressed with the customer service in USA...(because we never had one in Canada)...it seems time are changing in Sam's country! |

This is another reason people don't mind beating an AD up for a discount and look to grey dealers who sometimes like us are true lovers of the product. (ie not just a job)
