do grey dealers fake sales ?
Is it common for grey dealers to list a brand new w/stickers watch as sold, then some months or years later the same grey dealer lists the exact same brand new watch again as for sale ?
I don't mean just the same model, I mean the same specific serial number watch/piece. |

Reminds me of Santblanc on eBay. Tons of listings, but maybe 3/4 of them are "sold" once you inquire about them. Jon Todd the owner is a sketch ball and I would never buy a watch from him.

plenty of grey dealers trying to sell watches not even in their inventory. A portion of listings on Chrono24 are ghost listings. Basically the dealers don't have the watch in stock but makes a call to another dealer once someone bites

Sure it happens to simulate a sale or to show semblance of people buying at their inflated prices.

I can promise you the trusted greys on this forum are selling watches. Only thing I’ve noticed with one of the bigger greys is that he will take down his old listings and relist so that it shows up in his earlier pages of his site.
