Bump. Same Question
I typically buy watches new from ADs but I do want this particular one (Rolex Batgirl). I don't have too much experience with Rolex (I'm more of a Patek, F. P. Journe, A. Lange & Söhne kind of guy), so I don't really have the skills to authenticate it myself, especially since it seems like there are a lot of very good fakes out there. The seller is in Miami, I called the local ADs and they were not willing to help authenticate, which is a shame because I know many that have an in house specialist that is willing to do so for $100. I'm a bit hesitant now that I see the "banned" mark. Is there no way to find out from mods why someone was banned? Breaking rules like making seller posts too soon ver scamming? I'm also new to this site so I don't know exactly how it works. I feel like one or two references really isn't that concrete of proof, can't someone just make extra accounts and claim they are reputable? Thanks, |
