Not a fan of the ceramic Daytona, but id pick it over the GMT in this case.

They're both beautiful.

They're both iconic.

They're both very hard to get.

Do you like GMTs more, or chrono's more? Is a bi-color bezel too flashy or just cool looking? Without knowing anything about you, except that you have a better AD relationship than I do, all we can answer is, "Which one would I like more?" which really isn't so relevant or germane.

The ceramic Daytona is my grail, so that’s my suggestion. But if you’re in NY and you don’t take that one, please let your AD know I’d sell my kidney for it

If it’s a hypothetical question then the answer is easy. Not being sarcastic when I say you get the one that is offered to you.

Don’t personally care for the Daytona (have had two, slow learner). Love the GMT.

Based on your question it seems you are concerned about future value. If that is the main factor then for sure the 116500 is the one to get. If value not a concern then it depends on what you’re getting it for. Practically as a traveler the Pepsi is the one to get. Aesthetically it depends on what you like. If you have a poll here I’m sure you’ll get all sort of answers here.

But I do understand your predicament. I’d probably get the Daytona, if at MSRP, enjoy the piece and if after having it for a while I don’t quite bond with it, sell it and go grey with the Pepsi. Then again, I’d probably keep the Daytona and save up for the Pepsi. Who knows. :))

Daytona has a better case and overall proportions. Pepsi is interesting with a colorful bezel and jubilee bracelet. Pepsi will be more noticed.

+1. GMT Complication, Dial legibility and Date favor the BLRO.

GMT Pepsi for sure. Never was a Daytona or Chrono fan. I'm always trying to like a Speedy of some sort but as of yet It always ends up as a pass

GMT.

Something about the GMT Pepsi on the super jubilee really works.

I have a BLNR and White dial DaytonaC. If I could only have one it would be the BLNR. GMT is more useful to me for both personal and work.
