AP Service Rocks
AP Service Center in Clearwater just made me an AP fanboy for life.
One of my chronograph pushers on my blue dial 26331st fell off and I sent the timepiece to Clearwater back in February before the shutdown. AP emailed me to confirm that my watch was ready to ship and I asked them to send me the payment link for the repair which was $450. They called and left a message in addition to the email to confirm which day was best to ship and to tell me they were doing the repair on the house. I just received my watch back today and with it came a really nice leather travel kit. APNA, you really went beyond my expectations! Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is what luxury is like. Did they also polish the watch for you or anything else or did they just replace the chronograph pusher?

What a great feeling it is, when your timepiece comes back from a repair. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

Congratulations on your free travel pouch, looks very nice.
I think it's still cover under 5 years warranty, no charge. Very first class service! |

I’ve had a few problems with my APs but APSC Clearwater has always been amazing to deal with. Always go above and beyond with customer service.

To be honest, I'm not that impressed. Seems like decent service but nothing to become a fan boy. What was impressive to me was a full overhaul of a damaged 116619LB Smurf from the RSC in Beverly HBills within 20 days for $800 (out of warranty).
1) It's just a pusher, I know there's COVID 19, but to take 3-4 months for a pusher is a bit...slow. It's almost Patek slow. My 5711 that went for a full overhaul took about the same amount of time. 2) I guess the 26331st was already out of warranty? $450 for a pusher is fair but nothing special to be honest. To me, the pusher should not have fallen out in the first place. 3) Leather pouch is nice. |

I agree with you on 2 things. 1) Patek service is well known to be slow, 2) the leather pouch is nice. I don’t think it’s fair to judge clear water / ap service duration / turnaround during pandemic and lock down. Jin enjoy the weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don't understand what is so special about your experience, they gave you a travel case (should do it anyways) and made it easy for you to pay them lol, but I'm glad your happy with your watch.

It might not be any thing special to somebody else, but it was to OP.
The watch was out of the warranty period, but AP didn't charge him and give him a free travel case. He was glad that he saved that $450+$100(travel case). Good for you, just enjoy your beautiful watch again. |

Yeah that was mighty good gesture. I would have been impressed as well. T’was the best they could do for the OP.

Makes more sense now after the clarification, although I wouldn't be too happy if my pusher fell out for no reason.

give them a break. Waiting a few months for the repair due to covid, an unprecedented world event and not being charged for the work that I agreed to pay for, that’s pretty good customer service in my book.
Not a lot of companies have this type of mentality of doing a customer a “solid” when they really don’t have to. Especially a brand like AP whose products are in such high demand. I’m sure many of you that commented have more than one or two pieces in your collection and not having one, isn’t going to kill you. With the times, we should all have much more to be concerned with. To be able to enjoy this very expensive, and non-essential hobby of ours while many people are struggling, we should all feel very blessed. APNA with their comping of the repair and a nice little gift, should be for most rational people’s judgement, pretty classy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just sent mine in once they reopened for warranty work, their analysis said the cannon pinion was loose. So far the process has been smooth, hope to have it back by July (with a travel case fingers crossed)!
