I need more cowbell ... I mean Azzuro!

Ok, I’m thinking about my next piece (DJ41) and am intrigued by Azzuro blue and romans. If you got one ... please share some pics!

TIA

Beautiful/different blue from your current DJ. I personally love the Roman numerals. I like the white dial one with the jubilee.

Doug I could totally see you rocking a Yacht master instead of another DJ.

VincentM ...you take wonderful photos, a few of those shots I think the first photo in your post is the best one...I made an audible "oooo" when i first laid eyes...what a beautiful watch in this combo, or any combo really, the DJ41 is a home run.

I owned this dial configuration in the DJ2 back in the day but I ended up switching it to the blue dial with index markers.

To me, the Azzuro looks fantastic in pictures, but I never really bonded with it in real life. It’s a beautiful dial don’t get me wrong, but I much prefer the darker blue. I think you have to see them up close in personal to decide YMMV

It is quite different from the other blue on the stick dial. I had both in my hands 2 days ago and went with the stick dial. Ill be honest. The stick dial is more popular and that had a bit of influence on me but otherwise it was a toss up so I had to find a way to break the tie. The real deciding factor was that I plan to purchase a Day-date 40 in the coming months with a white roman dial so I didn't want to have two similar watches with roman dials (which also have no lume).

Vincent, if you don’t mind me inquiring...

You have a very nice collection of visually striking watches — not one is a “boring black Sub.” So, which is your favorite?

And a follow up question, which would you keep if you could only keep one?

First I must say that a black Sub is all but boring! I really like the Sub 114060... But I have to admit that I enjoy Rolex colors a lot!

If I had to keep one, that would be my CHNR. This watch is just superb. Rolesor is stunning and combines so well with SS. My favorite Rolex TT.

Please don’t mistake my love of the Sub (114060), I owned/loved this one for 2 years. I only got rid of it because it was too similar to my BLNR.

Interestingly, I have yet to see the TT CHNR (I’ve only handled the full PM version). I hope to see it soon. Congrats on your collection.
